The Ministry of Commerce and Industry have reported that they have received concern from some of the citizens about placement of cameras in stores without the awareness of customers. Women whom shop at these stores are not aware of these cameras. Consequently, privacy rights of individuals are violated. Thus, there must be commitment in placing panels or pictures in visible places of the store to show the presence of surveillance cameras.
