Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Jeraisy, RCCI Chairman, welcomed the forthcoming visit by HRH Prince Philippe, Crown Prince of Belgium, and the large ministerial & commercial delegation accompanying him to the RCCI today, Sunday. Mr. Al Jeraisy said that HRH keenness to visit the RCCI in the course of his visit to the Kingdom reflects the profound desire of his country to promote trade and investment relations with the Kingdom and strengthen the well-established partnership between the private sector in both countries. Mr. Al Jeraisy hoped that the visit and the talks with Saudi businessmen will result in further development of economic and trade relations between the Kingdom and Belgium and in achieving mutual interest, increased closeness and friendship between the two countries. Mr. Al Jeraisy said that the large 130-member delegation of businessmen, one of the largest from Belgium in recent years, involved in a wide variety of commercial, industrial and financial fields, many of them are leading players in their fields. This reflects Belgium’s real desire to boost economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the development of trade exchange volume from SR 6.9 billion in 2003 to more than SR 14.9 billion in 2007, then to SR 19.6 billion in 2008. He looked forward to increasing the volume of Belgian investment flows to the Saudi market.
