​The Japanese government granted Mr. Abdurahman bin Ali Al-Jeraisy Chairman of the Board of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Japanese medal for the Spring of 2008 named “Medal of Sunshine, the Gold and Silver Star” award in recognition of his contributions to the development of continuing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan as well as augmenting constructive cooperation between the two friendly nations, particularly in the areas of strengthening economic and investment relations devoting common interests between the two countries.

On his part, Al-Jeraisy expressed his happiness and pride in having this medal and said that as a matter of pride, the grant honors the son of the Kingdom who contributed to strengthen and develop ties of cooperation, friendship and understanding between the Kingdom and the economic giant - Japan - which is what has been achieved due to support from Allah, and then from support of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and His Royal Highness Crown who value and appreciate the constructive cooperation with the Government and people of Japan, as one of the major economic powers in the technical world.
