| His excellency, president Nguyen Minh Trietof of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has promised to remove all obstacles that might get in the way of Saudi investment in Vietnam. At the same time, he invited Saudi businessmen to invest in his country. As he met with a number of Saudi and Vietnamese businessmen yesterday, his excellency was there to witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, and the Vietnamese chamber of commerce and industry. The Saudi side said that what hinders the Vietnamese workers from working in Saudi Arabia is money transactions in in banks, and the inability to convert the Saudi currency in Vietnamese banks.
