Riyadh Chamber, represented by the Human Resources and Labor Market Committee and in collaboration with the Saudi Cloud community developers, has launched a free training program for “Google Cloud Apps Professional." The program aims to train and qualify 1000 young men and women seeking employment. The event of this program will start on July 22 and will last for three days. It will be during the evening from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This initiative comes within the framework of the Training Center's efforts to develop the functional skills for job seekers to meet the emerging needs of the national private sector in this field.
Vice-Chairman Board of Directors and head of the Human Resources and Labor Market Committee, Eng. Mansour Alshathry explained that the workshop is part of the initiatives adopted by the Chamber. The workshop aims to qualify job seekers in several sectors needed by the labor market. He points out that it seeks to train and qualify the participants to fill the specific jobs available in Google Cloud applications field. Also, he indicates that this trend comes from the responsibility of the private sector and to strengthen its role in the development of national human resources capabilities and improvement of the labor market.
Mr. Alshathry added that the workshop will be held in cooperation with developers of the Saudi cloud community. The program will include several training modules aimed at qualifying trainees in the field of cloud computing from Google, Google ads, and Google desktop services. Also, he adds that it intends to spread technical awareness and benefit from modern applications in computing and support developers with accessible and useful services. Mr. Alshathry is inviting both sexes and job seekers to take part in the workshop.
