The RCCI Website obtaining The Best Middle East E-Government Services Award emphasizes the fruitful results of significant effort that has been made to develop and upgrade the website to ranks of leading global websites. The RCCI winning such a prestigious award is a benchmarking milestone that prompted the technical sector officials at the RCCI to further develop the portal in pursuit of achieving sustainable development, moving from traditional to information society and reaching knowledge economy. This achievement has been also attained at the same time in response to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for all government agencies and sectors to shift to e-governance and advanced technology to pace with global developments. It is noteworthy in this regard that the RCCI has continued in all seriousness its transition to knowledge society and carried out the Chamber Online project under the guidance and encouragement of HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, who supports and monitors all the projects and efforts of the RCCI as being an umbrella for the private sector.
