General Authority for Food and Drug Administration has stressed on the importance of abiding by the GCC standards (GSO 9 / 2007). It will also be giving the importers of food a period of six months from the date of issuance of this circular to end the contracts signed between them and the exporters. Any food product that does not meet this standard will not be given any clearance once this period is over.
