Riyadh Chamber Holds its General Assembly

​Riyadh Chamber held its General Assembly on Monday morning, 10 April 2017. On behalf of the General Assembly and Board members, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Chairman of Riyadh Chamber, paid at the beginning of the meeting his deepest appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, HRH Crown Prince and HRH Deputy Crown Prince for the generous support and consideration they attach to the private sector. Al-Rajhi pointed out that the General Assembly has ratified the Chamber's 2016 budget and approved the 2017 new year's budget. Regarding the achievements and activities of the Chamber during the past year, the acting Secretary-General, Mr. Askar Al-Harthi, explained that the annual report of the Chamber covered the many activities and productivity of various sectors, in addition to the services they have extended to their subscribers, noting that the membership has increased in 2016 to 155,476, and the Chamber received 45 international dignitaries and commercial delegations. He added that the Chamber has contributed to the preparation and implementation of 76 training programs attended by about 2000 trainees. Besides, there were 5528 jobs that have been filled out by young Saudi men and women in the private sector during the past year.
