 Chamber Committees

The quality committees of the Chamber represent the most important and outstanding mechanisms of the economic and developmental performance. One of its important areas of engagement with the subscribers' issues and aspirations.  They are considered as permanent committees because they consider the issues associated with the basic works of the chamber. They are considered as vital entities including active elites in the business community, which succeeded in filling the vacancies in the economic and social movement horizon and establishing and developing civil community institutions. Their roles in the diagnosis of the issues of their sector and adopting the suitable solutions as well as communicating on behalf of their base of investments with the executive governmental leaderships, local and foreign bodies to protect the interests of the sector's staff and to increase  the benefit in the interest of the macroeconomic. These committees are composed of some expert businessmen from the subscribers in the Chamber who are practicing the following tasks in accordance with the requirements of the regulations issued after amending them to organize their work by a decision of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber no. (401) dated 18/3/1421 AH.

The committees are directly associated with the Board of Directors as each of them is headed by one of the members of the Board of Directors or whoever is appointed by the Board from experts from outside the Board of Directors. Each committee will have a management team, which carries out the technical secretarial work of the committees, the work of their sub-committees, submits the issues and problems coming from the sector's institutions in order to make the recommendations and propose the required solutions.
